Currently, there are four classifications for Posse involvement: Basic Training, Intermediate Training, Advanced Posse Training, and Qualified Armed Posseman. The training requirements for each classification is listed below.

- Firearms and Annual Module - 60 Hours
- Judgemental Use of Force (MILO) - 1 Hour

- Building Clearing - 4 Hours

- Explosive Ordinance Division - 4 Hours
- Fundamental Handgun - 8 Hours
