Welcome to the home of the
Maricopa County Sheriff's Communication Posse. The Communications Posse was
formed in 1994. The call sign of the Communications Posse is K7MCS (Maricopa County Sheriff). The purpose of the
Communications Posse is "to assist and cooperate with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in the maintenance of
peace, law, and order within the County of Maricopa, State of Arizona, at any time and in any manner as and when
requested to do so."
The Communications Posse holdes a weekly net on Tuesday nights at 2000 Hours (8:00pm). You can listen in on
Repeater 448.825 (PL 100.0 Hz).
The monthly Membership Meeting is held on the third Wednesday of every month, except December. It begins at 1830
Hours (6:30pm) and is held at the Enforcement Support building, located at 3325 West Durango Street in Phoenix.
Visitors are always welcome.
All members of the Communications Posse are Amateur Radio Operators. New members are expected to either have their
License already or acquire it within one year of joining.
